Censorship is Weak as F##k Sat. Dec. 15th in LA

World Industries and Red Bull put this DOPE event together and I had the honor of DJing the opening night.

It was a BLAST! Super fun...

I spun records from 6:30pm - 9:30pm, until we showed a video which ended up leaving me with only 15 or so minutes at the end to close it out. It was truly a night full of good people, good music, free booze, blunts, great art, skateboard history, Rodney Mullen, Clyde Singleton, Johnny Knoxville, and a few other legends I'm forgetting right now.

I'm actually spinning at the space again this Friday, but for an "exclusive" audience. It's not that deep, but it is exclusive. HOWEVER, the art show will be open to the public today thru, I believe Tuesday.

CHECK IT OUT!

Censorship is Weak as F##k is a collaborative retrospective featuring over 40 skateboard graphics designed by Marc McKee and Sean Cliver. The show features work the two have done for World Industries and its subsidiary brands from the formation of the company in the late 1980s to its mid-90s rise to industry dominance. The collection of original skateboards demonstrates, literally in graphic detail, how World Industries set itself apart from its competitors by using a totally uncensored approach in its graphic program, relentlessly featuring one controversial subject after another, covering issues such as religion, pornography, gun control, sex, profanity, racism, drug use and violation of copyright law, all on the bottoms of its skateboards.
